The DS-2CD2T42WD-I5 K1787 camera comes from a new series (2-line) of low-budget devices, IP cameras and IP NVRS, dedicated for anyone who wants to build low-cost high-resolution IP CCTV system. The compact camera has been equipped with high quality 4 MP (2688×1520) CMOS sensor providing perfect video even in low-light conditions.
The camera features intelligent analysis functions such as line crossing and intruder detection in a specific area. In the case of H.264 compression, the user can setup region of interest (ROI) – a part of the image with increased video transmission parameters.

The user can select H.264, H264+ , or MJPEG video compression. In the case of the H.264+ compression, the data stream is additionally minimized for static scenes, without noticeable loss of image quality, which saves the disk space.

The K1787 camera camera can be mounted indoors or outdoors. Its housing with high ingress protection rating (IP66) protects the electronics against adverse weather conditions. The built-in powerful IR illuminator has a range of up to 50 m. The sources based on the new light-emitting technology have up to 30% higher efficiency compared with traditional LED arrays. Additionally, they produce LED light in the form of a rectangle in order to fit the camera’s field of view. This further improves the efficiency of the lighting and eliminates the excessive light intensity in the central part of the scene, typical for majority of IR illuminators. Exir illuminators ensure much better luminance uniformity, including the corners of the scene, at the same time reducing light pollution in the surrounding environment.
